Would you like to be part of leading a dedicated, innovative, and friendly team committed to enlivening communities and bringing transformational change through effective Christian mission – one where you can combine your faith and managerial expertise?

Nelson Anglicans have begun a five-year project to revitalise the diocese and we are looking for a diocesan manager to join the senior leadership team.

The right person will be an experienced manager and proven leader in facilitating organisational change, who resonates strongly with the mission, vision, and values of the Diocese of Nelson, ready to support Anglican mission across the top of the South Island.

Proactive decision-making and being a catalyst for change are key to playing your part in the fulfilment of the diocesan vision. Responsibilities involve good oversight of organisational infrastructure including legal/compliance, IT, human resources, governance meetings and systems and processes to support the implementation of the Revitalise {Nelson} strategy alongside the bishop.

The diocesan manager will have the ability to work alongside the Diocesan Trust Board and finance manager on financial and strategic property matters and to ensure wise stewardship of financial resources and the maintenance and development of diocesan property, buildings, and assets.

Experience in the "not for profit" sector is advantageous, along with a track record of leading change processes, managing complex projects, and improving accountability systems.

This is a unique opportunity for the right person with aligned values and management experience and a desire to lead with empathy, energy, and adaptability.

Please note that this position is open to candidates with the right to work in New Zealand.

Applications should include a cover letter and CV.
