In the context of one of the fastest growing and most beautiful regions in the country, there are many opportunities and challenges ahead for this parish. The Parish is keen to be led by a vicar who relishes the parish’s potential.

    • is comfortable with various traditions and expressions of Anglicanism;
    • will help to foster stronger links between the parish’s three faith communities, and will participate readily in local intra- and interfaith events;
    • has the energy to travel between the churches, to visit parishioners, and to initiate and institute new, fresh approaches, even when there may be some resistance to change;
    • has a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and to the use of Te Reo;
    • is a person of prayer, with an evident personal spirituality, and who has strategies to sustain their ministry and well-being.
