The Waimea Anglican Parish, located in Brightwater and Waimea West, is seeking a part-time Vicar (0.5 FTE) to guide and grow its diverse church families. This is a unique opportunity to serve in a parish known for its creativity, hospitality, and deep commitment to outreach.

Parish Vision & Mission

Vision: To be a loving family, blessing our community, and helping people find and follow Jesus.

Mission: To love God, love one another, and serve our neighbours through worship, outreach, and discipleship.

Waimea Parish includes:

• St Michael’s – a country congregation with a traditional Anglican service.

• St Paul’s – a congregation that values less formal teaching and worship, with shared discussion and prayer.

• Sunday Live – a relaxed and open family for people at all stages of faith with a heart for outreach.
