Prison Chaplaincy Service of Aotearoa New Zealand, Ministry Manager Full-Time - Applications Close Friday 19 June 2020

This is a full-time position - 40 hours per week.

  • ·         Bring your experience as a qualified minister or pastor
  • ·         Join a friendly national office team
  • ·         Oversee chaplain and volunteer development

You will use your ministry experience, imagination and training skills to help develop the operational staff and volunteers at the Prison Chaplaincy Service.

Role Priorities

We need someone who has experience in developing the ministry and pastoral skills of chaplains (or equivalent roles) and volunteers, can help build team work in a variety of settings, can generate and implement operational policies and processes, and contribute to the development of PCSANZ’s culture, theology, spirit and strategic direction.   

Role Preferences

Understands Tikanga Maori, appreciates the requirements of dealing with paid and volunteer staff in a not for profit setting, and has empathy for the work of PCSANZ and the churches and faith-based communities that support us.
