The Parish of Whakatipu – in the Queenstown area of the South Island and in the Diocese of Dunedin – is seeking a full time Vicar

Based in one of the most beautiful parts of New Zealand, the area attracts a lot of visitors – and is also home to a vibrant, welcoming and involved residential community. We see our next Vicar as someone who will both work with us and lead us into the future with God. The Parish is looking for the right person to grow the church, and engage with the local community.

We wish to develop our existing ministry and face the challenges of moving us forward and inspiring us in this modern world

We have committed ourselves to praying together for the right person to grow our Parish and deliver thoughtful and creative worship.

Within the Diocese, we seek to appoint people who both practise and model prayer and reading of the Bible as they live out the risen life of Jesus Christ.
