The Anglican Diocese of Wellington is a movement passionate about following Jesus and seeing his kingdom come in the multiple local faith communities across the lower North Island. A vacancy has opened for the senior leadership role for our Anglican Youth Movement (AYM).

The AYM Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the AYM ministry across the Diocese; developing and discipling key AYM staff in leadership, overseeing AYM events and ministries, and ensuring all AYM youth ministry is aligned and effective in living out our Diocesan vision and values.

Primary competencies required are the strategic, discipling and mission-focussed leadership for AYM. A central focus of the ministry is the discipleship of young people to be passionate about following and serving Jesus. Through this we are raising a next generation of leaders for the church and Aotearoa.

Bottom-line requirements include a passion for youth development, a love of Jesus and an alignment with the values of our Diocesan family.

This role could suit a dynamic duo, an experienced youth enabler, or a family looking seeking an exciting new adventure of incarnational ministry. The role could be full time, part time or job share.
