St Michael and All Angels (SMAA) is an Anglo-Catholic parish in the centre of Christchurch that welcomes people from across Ōtautahi Christchurch and further afield to experience God through ever-deeper engagement in the life of the sacraments. St Michael’s offers a sanctuary of peace and the presence of Christ in the centre of the city. For more than a century, SMAA has been a centre for the Anglo-Catholic movement in Aotearoa New Zealand.
We seek an experienced Anglican priest who will partner with the congregation to grow new connections with the central city, to cultivate our long-standing relationship with St Michael’s Church School, and to sustain and develop the liturgical worship which we treasure.
