St Philip’s & All Saints is an LSM (Local Shared Ministry) Parish located at 124 Luxmoore Road, Timaru.  This small faith community is very active in Christ’s service and offers vital ministry, especially in the Marchwiel area. The Parish values its Anglican ethos and identity as an LSM Parish.  It has a culture of every member ministry that is affirmed in its Mission Statement, ‘We are a Christ-centered and caring church where people are encouraged’.

We are looking for a team leader who can

  • Work collegially with the licensed ministry team and support it as they minister in Christ’s name in the Marchwiel area and beyond.
  • Envision and give leadership to new mission initiatives.
  • Be a resource person and maintain active links with the wider church in Timaru and the Christchurch Diocese

The Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia, is a constitutionally autonomous member of the worldwide Anglican Communion. The Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia encompasses the area described by its title. The 1992 Constitution of this Church provides for three partners to order their affairs within their own cultural context. Within Aotearoa New Zealand, Tikanga Pakeha comprises seven Dioceses, Tikanga Maori comprises five Amorangi, the boundaries of which differ from those of the dioceses. Tikanga Pasefika encompasses Fiji, Tonga, Samoa and the Cook Islands, and is known as the Diocese of Polynesia. Publication: 'Anglican Taonga' (Treasure) is a publication affirming the unity and diversity of the Anglican community in these islands. .
