Diocese of Christchurch - Vicar (0.8 FTE), Parishes of Methven and Rakaia

Diocese of Christchurch - Vicar (0.8 FTE), Parishes of Methven and Rakaia

The Methven and Rakaia Parishes lie on the Canterbury plains, from the foot of the Southern Alps across to the coast. We are looking for a priest who will enjoy living in one of the finest areas of NZ farmland and outdoor pursuits (mountain, river, plains) and who will relish the opportunity these parishes present to grow churches of faithful, gospel, godly Anglicans. It is envisaged that the appointee will live in Methven where there is an excellent vicarage.

Parish profiles and an expression of interest form are available by emailing the Executive Assistant at the Diocese of Christchurch: bishopsea@anglicanlife.org.nz or by phoning 03 348 6701.

Applications, which must include a CV, a response to the profile of not more than four pages, and a statement about your faith and personal approach to ministry, are requested by 4pm 6 December and are to be sent to: bishopsea@anglicanlife.org.nz
