Diocese of Auckland - Priest in Charge (.75 FTE) / Diocesan Enabler (.15 FTE)

This is a Bishop's appointment for a full time position which is in line with the Diocesan Clergy Remuneration Package and will provide rental housing in the Kerikeri area.  This appointment has the following two dimensions:

The Priest in Charge role is with the Kerikeri Mission District who is still transitioning from being a Local Shared Ministry Unit as defined by the Diocese.

The Diocesan Enabler role is in the Bay of Islands in a Local Shared Ministry Unit.

This is a unique position and regular oversight with the Archdeacon and Local Shared Ministry Coordinator will take place.

Within Aotearoa New Zealand, Tikanga Pakeha comprises seven Dioceses, Tikanga Maori comprises five Amorangi, the boundaries of which differ from those of the dioceses. Tikanga Pasefika encompasses Fiji, Tonga, Samoa and the Cook Islands, and is known as the Diocese of Polynesia. Publication: 'Anglican Taonga' (Treasure) is a publication affirming the unity and diversity of the Anglican community in these islands. .
